TGIF!!!!
Thank God It's FRIDAY!!! ok..finally reached the end of the week and i'm just so glad to have made it through....been working quite long hours this week..i actually worked till 7pm last night without me knowing cause the sky was still so bright even at 7! lol!
anywayz, i'm kinda satisfied with my progress this week..currently working on my phd confirmation report which i need to submit and present in about 3 weeks time before i can actually progress from a 'probationary' status to a 'full' status. just a formality..
been really stressful in writing the report..i submitted my first draft last week and i had to redo about 80% of it cause my supervisors wanted it to have more words and more flow and more in depth analysis...i still have one more section to write and that's the toughest part to write..shall leave that to next week...
been also reading journal articles....i've read about 6 articles in the past week...a major feat never ever accomplished in my academic career!
anywayz, digressing....i'm sure u all know of the bushfires in victoria, australia..it's really bad and from the news report...it's just beyond our imagination....they described it as a firestorm....fires were reported to travel at 130km/h...how do you outrun that? i think the scariest report was when i read about people trying to escape in their cars, but yet did not make it and were incinerated in their own cars....
and to end this week over here...melbourne has been hit by a haze...gosh...and i'm surprised that the news didnt report anything about the haze...
haze's really getting on my nerves actually...cant stand the smell and a small rash has developed on the lower part of my right cheek....arrghhhh!!!!
all in all...not too sure how to describe my week..but anywayz, i will be glad and rejoice in it =)
