Farewell
I thought i would blog about my bday celebration that i had 2 days ago...but seriously, i'm not in the mood to talk about it....no, please dont get me wrong. I had an AWESOME time at my celebration and thanks to all who came to the party. I really had a fun time with all of you and thanks for making it memorable =) the words that you guys shared with me were really meaningful for me too!
however, i'm just feeling a little down now cause a good friend of ours has gone back to Malaysia for good...=( Steven Thai has finally gone back....
for some reason, Steven reminds me of Jeffrey and the both of them have some striking similarities in terms of their personalities....
i brought steven out for lunch at Crowns on my bday and we had such a good time catching up with one another...we never talked so much before...and before we knew it, 3.5 hours passed and we needed to head back home....
i found out more about his family, more of his struggles, more of his plans, more about what and how he thinks, his burdens, his wishes, his hopes and so much more... never thought he had so much on his mind too...
last night, at 1130pm, after a late dinner with Ivy, Ian, Rachel and Joab (well, i left early..sorry ivy..), i brought steven, pang wu and wan ru to Mordialloc Beach...it was a full moon night....and gosh...it was fantastic...for the 3 of them, it was their first experience being at the beach at night...and we all liked it...
all of us were refreshed and just so much thoughts and reflections went through our minds...we didnt really say much, but just enjoyed the companion of each other, the sea, clouds and moon...
we left the beach at 130am and headed home....
farewelled steven at the airport this morning at about 1130am...he finally cried...well, he dropped tears and fought back the rest of the tears....
pang wu also nearly lost it...and yes, i concede, i nearly lost it too..but i didnt cry..i just felt the urge to, but restrained it....
i really hate it when i see people walk through that customs door...
but oh wells, a farewell is a farewell....
farewell, steven, my friend and brother =)

p.s. sorry for the emo-ness...^_^
