3 weeks of my Honours year have passed. And what are my thoughts? Well, when i attended the first lecture, my 1st question i posed to myself was "Jason, what are you doing here? Maybe you should just drop out and start looking for a job."
Sounds pessimistic? Yea..maybe. Honours is way way way tougher than a normal 3 yr degree. Classes are so much smaller (how about having 9 in a class?). The lecturer knows your strengths and weaknesses at the back of their hands. The content is about 10 times the difficulty level of a normal bachelor course. And the best part of it all...the other honours students have a reputation for their academic excellence and analytical thinking, which i rarely possess....^_^
class just ended. i really dislike having classes that end so late on Fridays. But oh wells, i guess this is life of a 4th year student.
On the brighter note, i m enjoying tutoring the 1st yr uni students in stats..haha! more fun than i thought. the only tough part is preparing to teach for the tutorial. but once it starts, it's when all the fun begins. Oh, and i just got my pay cheque yesterday. quite a small amount, but oh wells, enough to get by i guess...
10 more weeks to the end of my 1st semester... and things can only get tougher..coz it's when i will have to start work on my thesis..
haiz...2008, are you coming soon?
