What Is Your Greatest Fear?
This was a question posed in a discussion group that I had last night. Answers varied from crawling creatures to personal fears of height and what nots. When it came to my turn, my answer was "My greatest fear is waking up one day and finding out that one of my loved ones has passed away."
Someone commented that it was a little pessimistic to think that way. My response was that you would not feel that it's pessimistic when you've gone through it, which I already have. It's one of those things in life that brings your feet firmly to the ground, to give you a glimpse of reality in this world. No more floating around in the air but to face up to life.
How to overcome the greatest fear was the next question. With respect to my fear, it cannot be overcomed. Cause dying is the natural phase of life. You cant stop people from dying. I guess the only way is to treasure each and every single one around us everyday and love each other rather than waste the time quarelling and engaging in conflicts. Appreciate them, for it may be their last. Cliche it may be, but how true it is, do you want to experience it for yourself to learn it?
