Been quite a while since i blogged..a few days? haha!
anywayz, i had a blast of a time for these 2 days! Ian came over to my place yesterday for some talk and laughter..haha! credits to Jacinta by making Ian and I laugh via MSN. It's tickling to know that Jacinta calls Ian gu-kong and Ian calls Jacinta Jlove (NB: cinta = love)...hehez!
Ivy came about 40 mins later to pick ian and i up to Glen Waverley where she had dinner with some frens while Ian brought me to his place to prepare for swimming. Antonius, Ian, Ron, Jonathan and I walked to an aquatic centre nearby for swimming. Veng met us there (he drove there....^_^). However, only anto, ian, ron and i swam. We spent quite a good time together swimming, moving from a pool that generated huge artificial waves to the outdoor 50m pool to the indoor 25m pool.
It's been really a long time since I swam and I felt really rusty. Had a little difficulty with my freestyle strokes...mainly in the shoulder areas and stamina was a huge problem! haha! felt tired after a few laps. but other than that, i think all of us had a good swim! was really fun! must go again!haha!
After swimming, we proceeded to Glen for makan. Forgot the name of the place (as usual...). Ordered a plate of Sze Chuan chicken rice, was not too bad. at least something diff frm wat i have been eating.haha! dinner time was also a time when anto and ian told us quite a no. of corny jokes. For example, what shampoo does God use? Ans: Follow me. (-_-)
We followed up makan with a movie marathon at Ian's place (which oso is anto's place..they are housemates..). Appetizer was a Final Fantasy movie which i must say was entertaining. We then moved on to a more serious movie "Passion of the Christ". The movie depicted the last 12 hours of Jesus' life. It showed how Jesus was betrayed by Judas and how Jesus was condemned and convicted. The climax of the movie was when Jesus was brutally wipped, punched, kicked, spat at and finally crucified. Some of the scenes were really graphic. Big thanks to Jeff for explaining some parts of the movie as Anto and Ian knocked out halfway (they fell asleep..lolx!)
As i watched the movie, i now have a better understanding of what it means by Jesus dying for our sins. This is all i shall say but the inner lessons i have learnt and kept it in my heart.
By the time we went to bed, it was ard 2:45am....slept on a mattress on the floor in jeff and ian's room. and the funny part b4 i slept: jeff passed me one of ian's blanket...which only managed to cover 3/4 of my body? (Note: Ian is a small framed person...but he has a big heart lar..kekez)haha! but yea, better than nothing! thanks jeff!
