FINALLY, after 3 months and 2 days, i have finally taken and passed my driving test!!!!!!!!!! i m so delighted and happy! all the hard work have finally paid off. i never felt so good driving before.
my road driving was good. one thing to mention is tt i was one of the earliest candidates to take the driving test. so i was not too prepared. but as soon as i started driving on the road, i felt so much at ease. i felt no pressure at all. in fact, i felt more comfortable driving during the test today than my practice lessons.
after passing my road driving with a score of 17/20, i had to wait another 4 hours b4 i was called to take my slope, side parking and 3 point turn test. the wait was agonising and i was hungry too! but i had to tahan lorz..no choice.
lining up for the slope test was a woman before me. however, upon seeing the car tt she was to drive for the test, she refused to drive it and i had to take her turn. the reason y she refused is becoz the car was very old and hard to handle. i tot so too..coz earlier in the morning, i had noticed tt many ppl who drove tt car failed!
when i got into the car, the 1st prob i had was the clutch paddle. it was so freaking hard to press down! i oso couldnt gage where was half of the clutch paddle as it was very old! the accelerator was oso so loose! press a little bit and the engine makes a roar!
as i was not familiar with the clutch,as soon as i started driving up the slope, the car was jerking quite violently coz i cant control and feel the clutch tt well..it's old! but luckily for me, i was able to stop on the yellow line..phew! but the wheel was on the front part of the yellow line..coz i took a little bit more time to press the stubborn clutch in b4 pressing the brake.
being an old car, i was quite worried abt my balancing on the slope due to the stupid clutch. (i.e. making the car move again up the slope.) fortunately, all the balancing experience tt i gained from traffic jams saw me thru it and it was flawless. this was how i passed my slope test! phew! no need for me to mention the side parking and 3 pt turn tests as they were easy..hhehez!
i m so glad tt all these are finally over. all i need to do now is to wait to colect my licence next week and i can start driving..but the prob is..i dun have a car now..sigh....but at least i can drive! hahaz
