hi ppl, here's wishing all a very happy, prosperous and healthy Chinese New Year! in chinese, ji nian xing da yun!
i just came back from johor bahru where i had my reunion dinner. i had a great time tonite!
for once, our extended family could enjoy our reunion dinner as no problems cropped up at the restaurant we ate. 2 years ago, this restaurant served dishes with very long time intervals in between and the food was not too tasty. this time, dishes were served quickly and food was slightly better. so phew! coz if there was any delay, all my uncles and aunty will be reprimanding the staff liaoz..and i dun think it is nice rite? on new yr's eve.
after makan, we went to my 3rd uncle's place where me, my bro and cousins played, talked and went mad! lolx! and of coz..all the usual questioning of whether i have girlfren and all tt stuff...they never fail to ask me this qn...hmmz..nvm...every yr give them say reply lorz! haha!
my xiao shushu (youngest uncle) then brought my bro, 3 cousins and i to Danga Bay for a walk. it's a really beautiful place. it's beside the sea so as u walk, u can enjoy the gentle breeze hitting into ur face. the lightings are romantic..just great! there is a whole whale of recreation activities there. they include prawn catching, horse riding, some small roller coaster rides, playground. there's oso a very big makan place! bigger than Asia Cafe in ss15 (a place in malaysia).
as we walked, i couldnt help but smile and enjoy my smallest cousin's action. she has downs syndrome and therefore although she is 9 yrs old, she only has a body size of a 5 yr old. but nevertheless, she was energetic! she hopped along, waved her chubby hands, sang wif my uncle and made very cute expressions! i really like her lorz! she really brightens my day!
we went back to my uncle's place after the walk and shortly then, we made our back to singapore. thankfully there was no traffic jam..one of the best things tt happened today! haha
anywayz, tml i will be going to jb again..will be having steamboat..m looking forward to it as it is gonna be lots of fun wif all my cousins and relatives! i love my family! saya cinta keluarga saya!!!
