yes ppl, i m back in singapore for chinese new year...but i guess most of the chinese new yr time may be in johor bahru..maybe only.not sure abt this yr's plans.
anywayz, i had a great trip back to singapore last nite as the bus i took was fabulous! it was really worth the value of RM70. this is free advertisment for the bus..the company is Aeroline.
the service and design of the bus is very similar to tt of an airline. this bus has 2 decks..the lower deck has 3 sofas and can be used for a small conference. there is a TV and some stereo systems available.
the uppper deck is where our seats are. the seats are made of leather and its design very similar to tt of an aircraft. they are comfortable and relatively spacious.
we had 2 staff to serve us..the driver and a cabin crew who happens to be the captain too...captain Rosli. they had smart uniforms on..impressive. they introduced themselves and updated us on our locations via a PA system...exactly the same as tt on airplanes.
the bus left Menaris Axis at Petaling Jaya (the place where i boarded the bus) at about 6:35pm yesterrday. dinner was then served by capt ROsli. stlye of serving is almost the same as tt on an airplane. the food came in those kind of boxing served on planes. so my dinner comprised of rice, vegetables and fried fish with tata sauce to dip in. dinner was complemeneted with a cool cup of peach drink. after dinner, we had a choice of either coffee or tea. as we were enjoying our sumptuous dinner, we were also entertained by a movie they were screening on the bus...Reign of Fire. apparently, my brother who was sitting beside me had no interest in the movie as he watched naruto, full moon wo sagashite and a date with vimpires with his laptop.
we were treated to some pop music after the movie...a service tt no other bus service provides..which i wonder y. for other bus companies, after the movie ends, there is nothing for u to do except to sleep..they play no music. anywayz, as the muisic was played on the bus, the lights were deemed and the atmosphere was suitable for a nice sleep! hehez!
so we arrived at Waterfront Plaza in SIngapore (somewhere near Great World City) at abt 12:20am and were picked up by our parents after 10 min. all in all, it was a great trip back!
