Out of Place

It's been a few days since I am back here in Singapore. Somehow, i just cant stop feeling that I am indeed out of place here. I just don't feel at home here despite growing up here for 18 years.

The hot weather is a little unbearable for me. People look so distant to me. The tempo of life is so fast. The buildings are foreign to me. I just don't fit in to this place anymore.

Been seeing primary and secondary school kids everyday when i go out..and somehow, i just feel a sense of sympathy for them. They have to go through a tedious education system, compete to go to uni, and compete with one another to be the best student. It's kinda nostalgic to me. I'm so thankful i've passed that stage. Uni life (in a foreign country) is so much more suited to my kinda character...

Perhaps, i should begin to not take my uni lecturers and tutors for granted, no matter how much i may dislike them (if any and if applicable...)

Hot Hot Hot!

IT'S A VERY HOT DAY TODAY!!!! cant believe it...it's actualy about 28 degrees now...well, to most singaporeans and malaysians, 28 degrees may be just cool...but to us who are currently in aussie, who are already so accustomed to the sub 20 kinda temperatures, 28 degrees is a little too much to bear....sighz

i m currently wearing a t shirt and a pair of jeans in uni..if the temperature is going to continue like that, i am gonna switch to tshirt with shorts and slippers! ahz....why must my winter end so early? *cryz*

oh wells, 4 more weeks to the end of my bachelor degree ....7-8 more weeks to my last examination for my Bachelor degree....it's going to be exciting...haha! ok...i think i m going nuts...back to work...gotta see my supervisor later to ask him about the research topic i am currently doing for my prehonours topic....

till then, it's going to be very HOT

My Gifts

Dhany and I were doing some catching up in Glen last night. We talked in Gloria Jeans until they closed shop at 10:30pm. We proceeded to sit on a flight of steps beside a road and continued talking till about 1205am

He said 2 things about me that amazed myself.

He said that i was an encourager, always being able to motivate and encourage people around me by sharing my life experiences.

Secondly, he said that whatever i touch will bear fruit. In other words, whatever i do will be successful. He calls this a gift of mine....

Interesting facts that I should really ponder upon...does anyone want to confirm the above 2 points? haha!
