hi guys! just came back frm Genting highlands...it was a fantastic and enjoyable trip. let me bring u thru my trip

Day 1:
met up wif sabrina, shook yi, ben han, melaine, catherine, peini (not sure of spelling) and yuanguan(not sure of spelling) at 0830 at KL central. took bus frm there. the bus ride was abt 1 hour, no thanx to the driver speeding. my heart nearly stopped several times when i saw the driver speeding at corners and overtaking illegally. was a rather heart thromping ride up to the cable car station.

the 8 of us took the cable car up to genting. it took abt 20 mins. during the cable car ride, we were awed by the scenery tt greeted our eyes. hills, trees and clouds surrounded us. we were basically communing with nature..hehez..it was great...

checked into Hotel Theme park. had 2 rooms, 4 in each room. thank goodness there were 2 queen sized beds in each room, so each bed could share 2 persons. yes, u guessed it rite, i shared wif benhan...hahahaha! (been a long time since i slept beside a guy, the last being during camps).

had a light lunch and made our way to the outdoor theme park. the 8 of us spent the whole afternoon in the theme park. we took many rides such as the spinner, bumper boat, a relatively mild roller coaster, Go-kart racing and some other rides which i dunno the names..hehez..lalalala! i think the most enjoyable one was the bumper boat. if u know wat bumper car rides are abt, when u replace the cars wif boats on water, u get a bumper boat ride..haha! the 8 of us occupied 8 boats and drove the boats around a water compound, colliding with each other as frequent as possible. we also tried to get each other wet by accelerating at a high speed and then bumping the others, creating a large splash of water onto the victims..muuahahahaz! but there were times when things backfired....the 'do-er' got wet sometimes instead of the intended 'victim'. but anywayz, it was a ride filled wif laughter and screams..

we also took many photos along the way in the theme park (will upload them as soon as i receive them frm either sab or melaine). some photos were cool, childish, creative, stupid, and blah blah...anywayz, u name it, we got.haha!

stayed in the theme park until it was abt to close. retired to our rooms to shower and prepared for dinner. had buffet dinner at a restuarant which i cant remember the name as well..it was fabulous! we had beef, lamp and chicken and other buffet dishes. we rounded off the meal wif small cakes as desert. all of us were 3 months pregnant after dinner..haha!

walked ard after dinner to digest our food b4 returning to our rooms. watched a little bit of shrek on tv b4 the guys slept while the girls played 'heart attack' in the other room.

Day 2
woke up at 7 plus. breakfast at 8 at happy valley restuarant just beside our hotel lobby. did nothing much. played some bumper car and arcade games b4 checking out of the hotel and making our way back to Kl central.

all in all, i thoroughly enjoyed the trip at genting. it was really fun seeing the mist block ur visibility and walking thru clouds in the morning. by the way, i did not bring a jacket and therefore i was for most of the times, freezing..haha! not tt bad larz..it was quite cool though. reminded me of the winter times in australia i had in year 1999.

a big thank you to all for giving me such enjoyable memories b4 i leave for australia. arrigato!

today was the last time i went bowling at pyramid. wouldnt be able to continue bowling in australia mainly of 2 reasons. the first is tt bowling is very expensive in australia and secondly i do not intend to bring all my bowling gear to australia...coz i would have to figure how to bring them back after i graduate.

had quite a lot of thoughts on my mind. since young, i have learnt and stopped learning many things. i learnt art, playing the piano and swimming. sometimes i wonder, if i had continued swimming wif my coach, maybe i would be a professional swimmer today. i really feel tt i had the potential to be a pro swimmer, given my achievements in swimming when i was young.

sometimes i just regret for not continuing wif piano (though i dun regret things i have done, this is the only exception). there r just times i feel like playing some songs on the piano but i cant. i cant even read musical notes now..wat a shame...

bowling is the only sport i never gave up. i threw the 1st ball in 1998, and only began serious bowling (had coach and bought own gear and stuff like tt) in 2001. so i've ben bowling for 7 yrs already. have had many good and bad experiences. the photo above was taken in a bowling alley in Indonesia where my school team had a sparring session wif the national juniors there. i m the 2nd person in black frm the left.. knowing tt today was the last time i can bowl is rather sad to me...sighz...it made me remember wat i once said to a teacher " i will never give up bowling'. well, it's not tt i m giving up bowling, i have to stop bowling given the circumstances. anywayz, i have not been bowling well for this yr (in my opinion), so maybe when i come back, perhaps i may bowl even better. yaz...time to hang my shoes for now.

well, 6 more days to australia. and counting down....

the song i m posting is in my opinion, a miracle. it was 1st posted on the internet and today, it is currently the hottest song in the chinese music industry. there are now many versions and singers who sing this song. a song tt is simple to remember coz the tune for the chorus has a 3 3 7 syllable. yupz..the song:

finally, i got my wish today. had red box today. not 1, but 2 sessions! i had 2 red box sessions today at the same place at the same time, i.e. 2 diff grps of frens i went with for red box today..so i was running up and down the coridor, alternating bw the 2 rooms..
quite fun lehz..1st time such a thing happened..haha!

think today's red box sessions were great. sang till my hearts content and till my voice became sore..lolx! as usual, i sang some songs well, i sang some songs badly..esp
jay chou's ones...sianz...i wonder which jay chou song i can sing well..hmz....

was also pleasantly surprised when i realised some ppl can sing very well (2 girls in particular..but they dunno my blog anywayz...so no need to name them..haha).

i must commend benhan for his effort. let me explain. i was in front of the screen, finding some songs i wanna sing while benhan was singing some jay chou's songs. he sang it in tune and pronounciation was good. when i turned my head back...HORROR! he was not looking at the lyrics on the tv at all! he was reading hanyu pinyin frm a huge stack of papers he had prepared! i suddenly remembered: benhan doesnt know how to read chinese! so, in order to sing the songs, he had diligently prepared the hanyu pinyin for the songs he had intended to sing...1st time i see such a thing! good job for the notes done boy! haha!

well, today was my last chance for red box b4 i leave for australia liaoz. i wanna thank everybody who made today a very memorable one. ailing, sabrina, melaine, shook yi, shermaine, shen, benhan, natalie, stephen, yew leong and gf, jiaqi and bf, cho xiang (hapy bday!) and bf, gino, and others who i have not named..hehez.. was great listening to u guys sing...makes the memories fonder..haha! hopefully, there will be many more such sessions in the future. well tt's it folks!

next plan: genting next week..hehez...1st time in 19 yrs..yes yes yes...not been there b4..but better than NOT GOING at all rite? heez..so must gimme credit ehz?

sayonara! a great day indeed

today is the 23rd June...in less than 2 weeks i will be flying off to australia already. for some reason, i m not as excited as i once was..perhaps all the exitement has died down? for some reason, i have a feeling tt i m gonna miss many many many things over here. seems like i have built a bond wif malaysia already. for some reason, i feel tt i will have to become MORE independent than i m now.

not in aussie yet, but m facing some accommodation probs now. had actually planned to stay wif jean and rach over there. but somehow, things dun go as smoothly as we had hopped it to be. jean and rach are looking hard for a suitable house, but the process is painstaking and long. a suitable house has to be found, an application will have to be lodged wif the agent, an interview may be applicable, and finally, the landlord will make the final decision on whom to rent the house to. this takes time and frm the look of things, the prob of me having a house to stay in wif jean and rach by the time i reach there is Z E R O. in addition, reading frm jean's blog, there only seems to be 2 houses available...i.e. hopes are diminishing..

obviously it doesnt feel good to be flying on the plane knowing tt u have an additional prob of finding an accommodation, given the dates i have to commit myself to registration, enrolment and orientation and other stuff...

will most prob be staying wif rach when i arrive. will stay there temporarily and if still no luck in finding a house, i will look for a room to stay. i want to settle my accomodation b4 semester starts. accommodation is not just finding a roof over ur head..it involves buying necessities and unpacking ur stuff..making sure tt everything is in order. i have gone thru this process b4 and trust me, it only does one good to get all these done as fast as possible so tt u can divert ur attention to more light hearted stuff...

so perhaps this accommodation issue is the thing tt is drousing my excitement to fly off to aust? i dunno. i know good things will come..but sadly, i have to tackle a bad one 1st..not really a good way to start things off ehz? or perhaps i m in the shadow of my bro's accommodation probs he once faced tt worried the whole family. letting my parents worry abt my accommodation is not an option.

i can only hope and pray...

here i m in uni, with nothing to do..waiting for a lecturer to arrive uni. it's 10:27 now and he's still not in. not tt i wanna see him, i received an email frm him saying tt he wanted to see me..sighz..perhaps he should have stated a time...wasting my time here when i have 1 paper to prepare for tml...sighz...going home now and coming later is not a good option as i would waste more time than waiting for him till he arrives at 11.

just read abt the USA F1 grand prix news on internet...couldnt watch it last nite as it was like 1am and being a sleeping 'beauty', i preferred sleeping..heez =) but will be watching the repeat at 1130
guess wat, only 6 cars raced...ferrari, jordan and minardi. wat happened to the other 7 teams and 14 cars? they boycotted the race coz their tyre supplier, Michelin, was not granted permission to allow the 7 teams tt use michelin tyres to replace them wif new and safer tyres. prior to the race during the practice sessions, several cars had accidents when their left rear tyre suddenly deflated, resulting in 1 driver having a serious crash and having a slight concussion. being unable to determine the cause of the tyre failure, michelin had hased the governing body of F1 to allow them to ship in tyres wif new specifications. this request was not granted and hence, the 7 teams tt used michelin tyres boycotted the race, believing tt their safety is not secured.
so, micheal schumacher and barrichello made it a 1-2 finish for ferrari while a jordan driver came in 3rd....history has been made...6 cars raced and jordan actually had a podium finish.
while i support micheal schumacher, somehow i did not feel happy tt he ended his 8 month drought of losses. perhaps there's nothing to be proud of..but anywayz, he gained 10 points and is now within range of current championship leader Alonso...in other words, schumacher has chance of winning his 8th driver championship..yayz! who gives a damn abt michelin! bridgestones rule!

leaving for aussie soon..quoting frm romeo and juliet "it's too rash, too sudden, too like the lightning"..lolx! ya, flying off on the 3rd...very fast...

wat m i gonna do for the hols after the last paper tml?
1. play pool wif frens
2. play badminton wif frens
3. red box
4. play play play

ok, i've had enuff of marketing subejcts and of theory subjects alike marketing.
today was my consumer behaviour paper (a marketing subject) and to be honest, i was not too satisfied with my performance. but if u ask me how i could improve it, i would say, there's no way i can improve it. coz it's the situation and environment at that time that made me do what i do. so i wun regret wat i did. just feel a little sorry that i had not managed my time better.

wif regards to section A, i was supposed to explain 10 terms out of 16. frankly speaking, i was a little shocked. i had expected much more simpler terms. when i say simple, i refer to straight forward concepts which do not need much explanation. and also, there were many terms that i had not seen before...so tt's just nice, could answer 10 of them..lolx!

wif regards to section B, had to answer 4 essay questions, each worth 15 marks. this was the beginning of my mismanagement of time. spent too much time for the 1st qn i did..and subsequently, i spent lesser time for each qn. so the quality of my answers are not consistent like my other papers.

but anywayz, consumer behaviour is finally over. i admit it's an interesting subject. but to study it for exams, it's really not my forte. i just cant excel in such exams.hehez...but anywayz, i was glad to expose myself to this subject. no regrets!

1 more paper left!

as part of my visa application to aussie, i have to go for a medical checkup and an xray. i drove to a clinic at ss15 this morning, wanting to do the checkup, only to find out tt the doc was not ard and will only be back on mon..so couldnt do checkup
so the nurse at the clinic then referred me to subang jaya medical centre (SJMC) for the xray. thank goodness i had a map in the car..or else i would be driving wanderlessly, trying to find tt place...quite near ss15...heez...
so i went to sjmc for the xray. was surprised at the service. the service was good! the staff were diligent, enthusiastic and helpful. i must say that they surpassed my expectations in every way...bagus! malaysia is not tt bad after all...=)
but one farnie thing happened for the xray. the nurse took an xray of my chest and instructed me to wait at the counter...while waiting, i suddenly realised tt when the xray was taken, my hp was in my pocket and i wondered whether the radiation frm the phone will affect the results...i played down the incident by saying "heck care!" lolx!
10min later, the nurse came running out calling my name...she said tt she needed to take another xray...at tt moment, i really thought tt the hp had screwed up the initial xray.
when i asked her wat's the prob...she answered "ur lungs were too long, out of xray".. i nearly laughed my head off! 1st time i hear this kind of reason! so i joked back at her asking her whether it was a good or bad thing..think she got scared by my question and answered in a bewildered manner "of coz good larz!" haha!
so again i took off my shirt for the 2nd xray...wondered how many cells died frm the 2 xrays...talking abt buy 1 get 1 free....lolx!

so medical checkup is on mon and hopefully, i can get my visa done by the end of june..
sighz...head growing too big frm all the marketing studying...i hate theory subjects!
